Updates to OKX INC. API Effective June 9 & 11, 2026

OKX is introducing a new consolidated ELP order book channel and REST endpoint (books-elp-all), and expanding the isElpTakerAccess order flag to all order types. These changes are designed to simplify ELP market data integration and provide greater flexibility in order management.

What's changing

  • A new WebSocket channel books-elp-all and REST endpoint GET /api/v5/market/books-elp-all will provide a single consolidated stream of non-ELP and currently tradeable ELP liquidity (400 levels, 100 ms push cadence, format: [price, totalQty, nonElpQty, orderCount]).

  • isElpTakerAccess now applies to all order types (previously ioc only). When true, a speedbump applies to all order types except post_only. The flag is also now supported on amend-order endpoints.

Release schedule (at the earliest): market data changes go live in demo on June 4 and production on June 11; trading changes go live in demo on June 3 and production on June 9. No action is needed ahead of these changes.

We recommend testing against the demo environment prior to the production release. Full documentation is available at: https://www.okx200.com/docs-v5/log_en/#upcoming-changes-elp-consolidated-order-book.
